Public legal awareness is a crucial aspect in realizing sustainable technology development. Without legal understanding and active public participation, efforts to develop environmentally friendly technology will not run optimally. This study aims to examine the relationship between legal awareness and public participation in sustainable technology development in Indonesia. The method used is a juridical-normative approach with a conceptual approach. The results of the study indicate that a high level of public legal awareness can increase social responsibility for the ethical and sustainable use of technology.
